How the Diet Works

When we stop eating carbohydrates and lipids in appropriate quantities, our body will immediately begin looking for another source of energy in order to feed itself.

  • Proteins

The Inovacure method supplies the body with complete proteins, offering a high biological value, which will prevent the breakdown of muscles.

  • Sugars

During the first 24 hours of the treatment, the body will burn the sugar (1,000 calories) stored in the liver and kidneys.

  • Fat

As long as the required daily amounts of protein are consumed, the muscles are protected. And, once all the sugar has been consumed, the body has no other choice than to turn to its fat reserves in order to feed itself, a phenomenon called “ketosis.”

Keep in mind that while the body feeds on fats, the pancreas can rest because it does not need any more to secrete the insulin necessary for the absorption of consumed sugars. This is why fat melts so quickly when we follow the Inovacure treatment. In fact, it takes just 1-2 days before noticing the beneficial effects, which contributes to strengthen, day after day, and your motivation.

'Ketosis'

During ketosis, the body produces what is known as ketones, which come from fat stored in the body. There are
three types of ketones, two which boost energy levels and stimulate the brain by provoking a gentle feeling of
euphoria, and a third that acts as a powerful and natural appetite suppressant. This third stimulates a precise
point in the brain, called the satiety centre, and, in so doing, completely curbs hunger pangs.

Healthy body weights are calculated using the BODY MASS INDEX (BMI), which is an international standard used to measure excess weight and obesity.

How to calculate your BMI

One practical way to quickly calculate your ideal body weight is to get
your BMI. This figure is calculated by dividing your weight (in kilos
or pounds) by the square (in meters or feet) of your height. It can
also be used to establish the degree of obesity and the health risks it
entails.

This method is not practical in calculating the ideal weight for
high-level athletes, pregnant women or people with serious illnesses.

EX: Weight 140lbs divided by a height of 5.4 feet = 25.93
BMI

The following body mass indices can be used to evaluate the degree of obesity in adults:

BMI 18,5 18,5 to 24,9 25,0 to 29,9 30,0 to 34,9 35,0 to 39,9 40 +
Thin Normal Potential health risk Moderate obesity Significant obesity Severe obesity

Physical activity

Physical activity " The ideal weight is the one that will allow you to feel good about yourself and promote good health. It will help prevent the onset of such diseases as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, hypercholesterolemia, sleep apnea as well as certain cancers and joint problems. "
